Canadian teens are spending five hours a day on screens. What is that time replacing, and how could it be affecting anxiety, life skills and independence?

After more than 20 years of sitting with young adults and their families, I've noticed a pattern I can no longer ignore. This isn't about a generation that's failing. It's about a generation entering adulthood without many of the experiences that build confidence, resilience, self-trust, and practical life skills.
