Between Friends - A weekly Girls Group

This July 2026, I’ll be offering Between Friends — a 3-week teen summer circle in partnership with Youth of Manotick Association (YOMA), led by myself alongside a youth mentor. These small, relaxed groups are designed to give teens a space for connection, conversation, and honest real talk around the everyday pressures that come with growing up. Over the three weeks, teens will have the opportunity to talk through friendships, confidence, stress, peer pressure, family dynamics, and the ups and downs of teen life while learning practical ways to handle situations differently. The goal is simple — supportive conversations, practical guidance, new connections, and a space where teens realize they are not the only ones figuring this stuff out. Each session will also include small activities designed to encourage comfort, connection, and conversation in a relaxed and welcoming environment. Sessions will run Thursday evenings throughout July, with each group meeting for 2 hours weekly. To keep the space comfortable and conversational, spots will intentionally be limited to 12 teens.
